Plant Power Foods Original Tempeh Supergreens with Spirulina Superkraut 4 tortilla wraps Finely sliced crunchy veg (we’ve used carrot and red cabbage) Pesto (ensure it is Vegan if necessary) -
1 cup cooked grain of choice (we’ve used cooked millet)
2 Tbsp Tamari or soy sauce 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar 1 Tbsp maple syrup 1 Tbsp olive oil 1 garlic clove, minced
Mix all marinade ingredients together in a medium sized tub with a lid. -
Slice the tempeh into thin s trips. -
Place the tempeh strips into the marinade put the lid on the tup and gently shake the tub to completely cover and coat the tempeh in marinade. Leave to sit for at least 15 minutes but a few hours or overnight will add more flavour. -
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, pour in the tempeh and marinade from the tub and cook for a few minutes on each side or until the marinade has been absorbed. Keep an eye to make sure you don’t burn the tempeh. Once cooked take of the heat and set the tempeh aside. -
In a small bowl, mix 2 - 3 Tbsp of pesto through your cooked grain of choice. -
Place your tortilla wraps on a plate layer up with the pesto grain, sliced crunchy veg, Plant Power Tempeh and a good forkful of Supergreens with Spirulina Superkraut. Roll up your wraps and enjoy.
